This summer, Belvoir Castle invites families to follow the Belvoir Summer Safari — an adventure playground trail that turns a day out into a proper treasure hunt. Explorers set off from Explorer HQ, following clues through the playground and meeting characters like Dave, Pippa, Snowy, Stu, Percy, Gary, Lottie and Chester along the way, before the trail leads them to the Animal Park to meet the real thing.

The Stapleford Miniature Railway will have its Open Weekend from August 29th to 31st, 2026. This event will take place at the Stapleford estate near Melton Mowbray, featuring a variety of attractions including classic cars, motorcycles, and vintage tractors, along with the famous miniature railway. Admission is free, and the event is a great opportunity to enjoy the scenic beauty of the area while supporting a local cause.
