This summer, Belvoir Castle invites families to follow the Belvoir Summer Safari — an adventure playground trail that turns a day out into a proper treasure hunt. Explorers set off from Explorer HQ, following clues through the playground and meeting characters like Dave, Pippa, Snowy, Stu, Percy, Gary, Lottie and Chester along the way, before the trail leads them to the Animal Park to meet the real thing.

This summer, Cirquoise returns to Gates with a thrilling, high-energy family circus that will amaze and astound audiences of all ages. Following two hugely successful years at Gates Oakham, Cirquoise is delighted to be back and launching at Gates Woodlands Hinckley too. If past performances are anything to go by, tickets will sell fast.

The Melton Folk Festival comprises a full weekend of music & dance (from folk to popular) all around the town. It is a free festival and attracts musicians from all over the country. A great weekend for music lovers or for those just wishing to experience the festival atmosphere.

Saturday 1st August - it’s Bands in the Barn! Starting at 5 pm, Indie rock band The Stiff Cats will kick off our fifth Bands in the Barn evening, followed by the toe-tapping Alderman Road Band. Alderman Road started their live-music career at Bands in the Barn.
