Back for another year is the brilliant Potfest team, who bring you the annual Pots in Pens event at the Melton Mowbray Livestock Market. The team brings together 90 ceramics artists for a three-day artisan market in the heart of Melton Mowbray, and just in time for your Christmas shopping.

Enjoy all things chocolate, even choc pizza, beer and kebabs… chocolate pancakes, ice cream, cakes, donuts, marshmallows, hot chocolate, biscuits, pastries, liqueurs, brownies, tarts and puddings. Plus Street Food, talks, tastings & kids workshops to make your own chocolates.

Don't miss the magical Christmas tree festival at St Mary's Church in Melton Mowbray. Now in it's twenty third year, the festival brings together schools, businesses, organisations, individuals and visitors from all over the country to take part. Christmas Tree Festival opening times Entrance Fee £3. Accompanied children FREE Friday 28th November Church open for viewing: 9.30am - 9.00pm (Last entry 8pm). Operating under the same ethos as our Cumbrian Pens events, we’re bringing together 100 ceramics artists for a three-day artisan market in Melton Mowbray’s agricultural market. See the work of the well-established alongside the up-and-coming, in an exciting mix of the sophisticated and the raw power of the next generation, combined in a bustling arts market marketplace. No art hype, no gallery glitz, just potters and public mixing in a down-to-earth setting. Held under cover to save us from the weather. 3pm – 7pm (Fri) & 10am – 4pm (Sat & Sun)
