From 27 to 29 November 2026, Melton Mowbray will be transformed into a festive destination filled with sparkling lights, seasonal experiences, Christmas shopping and family entertainment. Whether you’re planning a day out, a festive get-together with friends or a weekend escape, discover three days of Christmas magic in the heart of Leicestershire.

Explore beautifully decorated market streets lined with Christmas stalls, enjoy festive food and drink, browse independent shops, meet Santa in his grotto, experience the funfair and discover the town’s rich heritage through historic walking tours and seasonal attractions.

As daylight fades, the town comes alive with festive lighting, and a warm Christmas atmosphere, creating the perfect setting for seasonal shopping, dining and making memories with family and friends. Melton Mowbray Christmas Market offers a unique festive experience with its own distinctive market-town character.
Christmas Lights Switch-On Concert

Friday 27 November | 6.00pm to 8.00pm

Join us for a festive evening of live entertainment as we officially launch the Christmas season with the Melton Mowbray Christmas Lights Switch-On Concert. Featuring Rock Choir, Royal Santa and special guests.

Saturday 28th November – 10.00am – 5.00pm
Sunday 29th November – 10.00 – 4.00pm
