Miss B Traditional Tea Room

Miss B’s Tea Rooms in Melton Mowbray is a charming and cosy venue that offers a quintessentially English afternoon tea occasion.

Graze on a selection of sandwiches, warm scones with clotted cream and jam, and an assortment of tasty cakes and pastries. All accompanied by your choice of tea or coffee, served in vintage china. Pork pie and Stilton cheese feature prominently on the menu, but Miss B’s also serves a Vegan Afternoon Tea.

Miss B’s Tea Rooms is set on the second floor of a Grade 2 listed building in the market town of Melton Mowbray, famed for its Stilton cheese, pork pies and more recently the title of ‘Rural Capital of Food!’

The heavy beams and uneven floors all add to the ambience in our Traditional Tea Rooms. This sets the scene for a relaxing experience, where customer service is second to none and nothing is too much trouble. Real loose leaf tea is served from china pots into bone china tea cups, sugar with tongs to help to set the scene.

Miss B’s offer a wide selection of delicious sandwiches, toasties, jacket potatoes and light lunches including Dickinson and Morris pork pies and Long Clawson Stilton Cheese, as well as homemade Gluten Free and dairy free cakes and scones. Afternoon Teas and Cream Teas are their speciality!

Just head for the Market Square and look for the Red Teapot on the wall!
