DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to welcome The Melton Band to the Bandstand. \nThe Melton Band is one of the oldest brass bands in the world\, dating back to around 1814\, and is still thriving today in Melton Mowbray\, Leicestershire. \nThe band competes in the Fourth Section at Brass Band contests\, but also has a large concert repertoire\, playing everything from classic band marches to musicals and even a little pop music! \nThey will perform on the bandstand between 2.45pm – 4.30pm.
