DESCRIPTION:The Great Easter Egg Hunt packed with surprises\, treats\, and plenty of Easter magic. \nWhat’s happening on the day? We’re kicking things off at 11:00 am with our Circus Play Session\, where we’ll show your little ones how to spin plates and master the hula hoop! Our very own Easter Bunny and their helper will then gather everyone together to begin the hunt. You’ll work as a family to follow clues to hidden decorative eggs—and if you find them all\, we’ve got a delicious chocolate egg waiting for you at the end! \nEntertainment for everyone: \n\nDance & Play: Join MC DJ Chuka for a Kid’s Disco and DJ Workshops.\nMeet Your Heroes: Don’t forget your camera! We’ll have the Easter Bunny and Princess Elsa hopping around for photos.\nGet Creative: Visit our Easter Crafting station or get your face painted.\nThe Golden Egg: Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Golden Egg to win our grand prize!\nHolland’s Fun Fair will also be in Play Close Park over the Easter weekend from the 2nd to the 6th of April. We have been offered free tokens to give out as prizes for our Easter Egg hunt\, which the winners can use to go on the rides at the fun fair for free. We’ll also have local caterers on-site serving up tasty snacks for whenever you need a break.\n\nTickets & Info: Tickets are £5.94 per child (limited to 500 children aged 10 and under). We want the whole family involved\, so parents and guardians go completely free!

DESCRIPTION:The Melton Mowbray Town Estate and Melton BID are proud to announce the launch of ‘Super Saturdays’\, a series of monthly themed markets running from April through October 2026\, in an initiative designed to transform the town centre into a premier regional destination by blending quality retail with family entertainment. \nEach Super Saturday will feature new market traders\, live music\, and family-oriented activities. In a boost for local commerce\, the Town Estate is also offering market pitches to businesses located outside the town centre to showcase their goods. Adding to the atmosphere\, classic and vintage cars will be in attendance at every market throughout the season. \nThe season kicks off on Saturday\, 4th April\, with an Easter Market\, featuring a wealth of entertainment including a children’s disco\, Punch and Judy shows\, and the “Great Easter Egg Hunt” in New Park. \n\n4th April – Easter Market: Featuring the Easter Bunny\, a disco\, and the Great Easter Egg Hunt and more.\n2nd May – May Day Festival: The return of our beloved annual tradition.\n9th/10th May – 1940s Weekend: A vintage market to complement the festivities in Play Close Park.\n13th June – Country On The Eye: Live country bands\, DJs\, and line dancing from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.\n25th July – Melton Ska Fest: Reggae and Ska vibes with DJs from Bootboy Radio.\n22nd August: Family Summer Event (TBC).\n19th September: Farming Day.\n31st October: Halloween & Kids Fancy Dress.\n\nEach Super Saturday will always have stalls\, family entertainment\, music and classic cars.
