DESCRIPTION:Ever dreamt of soaring with the birds? \nBuckminster Gliding Club at Saltby airfield are opening their doors on Saturday 6th June for local people of all ages to see what goes on at a flying club\, and to find out about learning to fly. \nMeet friendly and enthusiastic club members and learn all about our exciting sport and what makes gliding so special. Take a guided tour of our club facilities and our historic WW2 airfield home. \nFriendly club atmosphere\, offering access to affordable flight training and fun-packed experiences over the Vale of Belvoir. \nVisitors who book in advance can take a ‘taster’ gliding lesson for the reduced price of £60. \nTaster experience includes: \n30 minute first gliding lesson\nTour of the club and our facilities\n1-to-1 dedicated instructor
