Christmas Tree Festival

One of the town’s most popular events, each year St Mary’s Church is filled with beautiful Christmas trees, provided by local groups, businesses and charities. This event is loved by all, but the question is – which will be your favourite?

Christmas Lights Switch On

Always a cracking way to kick off Christmas in Melton! This year we’re joined by X who will be switching the lights on at 18:45. While you’re in town, why not visit the Christmas tree festival in St Mary’s Church, enjoy the entertainment in the Marketplace, or do a bit of shopping at the Christmas Market?
Christmas Market
Town Centre | 01 – 03 December | Free
This traditional Christmas market will be a favourite choice with all the family. You’ll find stallholders with an array of festive gifts, local produce, food and drink, and handmade presents. There’s also live music and entertainment throughout the weekend, bringing the town centre to life.
Santa’s Grotto
The Bell Centre | 01 – 03 December | Children: £5.00
Santa Claus is coming to town! Hosted by Melton Mowbray Lion’s Club, you can pay him a visit in his grotto in The Bell Centre this Christmas.
Panto: Beauty and the Beast
Melton Theatre | 14 – 18 December | Adults: £15.50, Children: £14.00, Family of Four: £48.00
Back by popular demand, Trio Entertainment will be visiting Melton Theatre with a brand new, exciting Pantomime, which adults and children are sure to find memorable. Featuring the hilarious Stuart Earp and Jordan Bateman, book your tickets to see Beauty and the Beast now!
