OTHER SCHOOLS

John Ferneley College is a 11-16 secondary academy and part of the  Mowbray Education Trust. Located in the beautiful rural market town of Melton Mowbray, it serves around 1200 students from within Melton Mowbray and surrounding areas.

Long Field Academy is a modern, forward-thinking school that is part of Spencer Academies Trust, a multi-academy trust with schools across the East Midlands.  The school provides a perfect balance of exciting teaching and learning combined with excellent extracurricular opportunities.

Priory Belvoir Academy provides a broad curriculum, taught by specialist teachers in specialist areas. There are also many out-of-school activities and clubs, a House system, and a well-developed programme of trips and residential visits to places both within the UK and abroad.

Birch Wood Community Special School  was the first Leicestershire Area Special School to be opened in 2004. It is a popular school with a rising role of currently 142 students aged 4-19 years. The school is divided into two sites: the Main Site is located on Grange Drive and holds Lower and Upper School departments.

The Grange Therapeutic School  is an independent special school offering residential care and day school places for boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 18 who have social, emotional and mental health needs or high functioning autism.
