Kick Up The Arts – Melton’s Central Creative Hub for all ages

Nestled in the heart of the Bell Centre, Kick Up The Arts is a creative hub for all ages. Originally launched last year as a community-driven project, Kick Up The Arts quickly became a beloved space, offering workshops, drop-in sessions, and creative activities for people of all ages. Since its inception, the team of volunteers has worked tirelessly to keep this hub alive, and they’ve been hard at work revamping the space and expanding their offerings to ensure an even more enriching experience.

“Since launching Kick Up The Arts, we’ve received enthusiastic and welcoming feedback to keep the venue open, and we’re so pleased to be re-opening in September. Our plans are to remain open for the long term, offering creative services to the community and giving local artists opportunities to showcase and share their skills and talents. Starting from early September this year, Kick Up The Arts will offer a variety of affordable drop-in creative sessions. These 2-hour sessions are perfect for both adults and families, providing an opportunity to explore a wide range of materials and techniques. Additionally, specialised art and craft workshops will be available for adults, with no prior experience or materials required.

Looking for a place to connect, relax, and get creative? Kick Up The Arts is the perfect spot! Whether you come with a friend, bring the family, or just want to meet new people, everyone is welcome in this friendly, inclusive environment. You can choose from a variety of art and craft activities to enjoy during your visit.

Drop-In Session Times:

• Tuesdays: 10 AM – 2 PM
• Saturdays: 10 AM – 12 PM
• Sundays: 10 AM – 12 PM

Cost: £5 per adult and £2 per child

12th October: Glass Fusion Rainbow Hangers
Create a beautiful glass fusion rainbow hanger to display in your home, perfect for adding a splash of colour to any room.
