Community Support Hub (Phoenix House)
The Community Support Hub offers support services to resident of Melton. In particularly to those most vulnerable in our community, who face multiple barriers.
There are a wide range of services available and the hub offers tailored support to residents, focused on building resilience and independence within the local community, to ultimately inspire a healthier, happier community.
The hub is based at our Phoenix House building and we work with a number of partners to offer this support to you.

Armed Forces Community Covenant

Addressing the commercial disadvantage experienced is a priority for the government and for the Ministry of Defence.

We provide careers information, advice and guidance for people that are not in education, employment or training. We offer an appointment/drop-in service at Phoenix House throughout the week, call the office to find out available times or to request an appointment.

Storehouse offers food, clothing, bedding, baby equipment and other household items to those living in the borough of Melton who are in need and who have been referred by one of the local agencies.
Sustainable Land Trust
Sustainable Land Trust’s mission is to provide land based training and experience of the countryside to vulnerable and/or hard to reach groups. Provide meaningful, green, community based job opportunities for our trainees. To undertake environmentally, considered land management projects to improve wider ecosystem health and local habitats and through our actions generate a sustainable enterprise which utilises arising by-products – The profits from which can be reinvested to help perpetuate the project.
Turning Point is a leading health and social care organisation with over 50 years’ experience of supporting people with complex needs including substance misuse, mental health issues, learning disability, unemployment, housing needs and offending behaviour.
The aim of the service is to provide integrated community drug and alcohol treatment for young people, adults and their families. The service will increase opportunity to access support in the community; improve completion rates, so more residents leave treatment having achieved their goals; reach out to client groups who are currently under-represented; and respond quickly to changing drug and alcohol trends.
Providing specialist Independent Domestic Violence Advisor Services. Our IDVA team offers short term, intensive support and advocacy which focuses on risk and managing risks. Priority is given to ensuring the safety of victims and their children, presenting victims views at Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARAC) and Specialist Domestic Violence Courts (SDVC).
Once the immediate risks and threat of abuse is addressed the Engagement and Recovery team will provide emotional, practical, therapeutic support and counselling options alongside group work interventions to ensure victims continue to feel safe and secure, make informed choices and take back control.
