In a boost for local commerce\, the Town Estate is also offering market pitches to businesses located outside the town centre to showcase their goods. Adding to the atmosphere\, classic and vintage cars will be in attendance at every market throughout the season. \nThe season kicks off on Saturday\, 4th April\, with an Easter Market\, featuring a wealth of entertainment including a children’s disco\, Punch and Judy shows\, and the “Great Easter Egg Hunt” in New Park. \n\n4th April – Easter Market: Featuring the Easter Bunny\, a disco\, and the Great Easter Egg Hunt and more.\n2nd May – May Day Festival: The return of our beloved annual tradition.\n9th/10th May – 1940s Weekend: A vintage market to complement the festivities in Play Close Park.\n13th June – Country On The Eye: Live country bands\, DJs\, and line dancing from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.\n25th July – Melton Ska Fest: Reggae and Ska vibes with DJs from Bootboy Radio.\n22nd August: Family Summer Event (TBC).\n19th September: Farming Day.\n31st October: Halloween & Kids Fancy Dress.\n\nEach Super Saturday will always have stalls\, family entertainment\, music and classic cars.

DESCRIPTION:It’s time for the annual East Midlands Food Festival! \nThe Food Festival has been going for 22 years and is a showcase of food from across the East Midlands and beyond. \n\nWith around 200 stalls from the East Midlands and beyond\, a Food Theatre with professional chefs\, a Kids Food Zone and street food dishes from around the world\, the festival is a wonderful day out for the whole family.\n\nFamed for its artisan producers of cheese\, pies\, charcuterie\, chocolate and all sorts of goodies\, the festival is one of the largest UK regional food festivals.  A number of them offer tasters to tempt you to buy.  The festival also boasts and array of drink producers from cider and beer to the strong spirits such as artisan gin and whisky. \n\nSo many amazing food and drink producers with delicious samples\, demos\, workshops and more\, all at Stockyard Melton Mowbray\n\nAll of these stands are under cover and so accessible whatever the weather. \nTickets £7.
