DESCRIPTION:The Melton Mowbray Town Estate and Melton BID are proud to announce the launch of ‘Super Saturdays’\, a series of monthly themed markets running from April through October 2026\, in an initiative designed to transform the town centre into a premier regional destination by blending quality retail with family entertainment. \nEach Super Saturday will feature new market traders\, live music\, and family-oriented activities. In a boost for local commerce\, the Town Estate is also offering market pitches to businesses located outside the town centre to showcase their goods. Adding to the atmosphere\, classic and vintage cars will be in attendance at every market throughout the season. \nThe season kicks off on Saturday\, 4th April\, with an Easter Market\, featuring a wealth of entertainment including a children’s disco\, Punch and Judy shows\, and the “Great Easter Egg Hunt” in New Park. \n\n4th April – Easter Market: Featuring the Easter Bunny\, a disco\, and the Great Easter Egg Hunt and more.\n2nd May – May Day Festival: The return of our beloved annual tradition.\n9th/10th May – 1940s Weekend: A vintage market to complement the festivities in Play Close Park.\n13th June – Country On The Eye: Live country bands\, DJs\, and line dancing from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.\n25th July – Melton Ska Fest: Reggae and Ska vibes with DJs from Bootboy Radio.\n22nd August: Family Summer Event (TBC).\n19th September: Farming Day.\n31st October: Halloween & Kids Fancy Dress.\n\nEach Super Saturday will always have stalls\, family entertainment\, music and classic cars.
