Since 1993, Robert Parker has led Nottingham Concert Band as their Conductor & Music Director. A Trinity College London Graduate and Fellow, he’s a professional performer with diverse experiences. Over 30 years, he’s established the band as a musical cornerstone in Nottinghamshire.

Under his guidance, the band’s repertoire spans traditional marches, popular show medleys, contemporary compositions, and arrangements. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings at Rushcliffe Spencer Academy in West Bridgford, Nottingham, during term time. Besides leading the band, Robert is in demand as a horn player, touring with the International Film Orchestra and performing as a soloist in prestigious venues like St Mary’s Church, High Pavement, Nottingham.
