Leicestershire Young Farmers invite you to join us, from the comfort of your cars, as we bring to life the Nativity Story
Looking for something different to do this Christmas? Then look no further- Leicestershire and Rutland Federation of Young Farmers Clubs invite you to their Drive In Living Nativity! Listen to the Christmas story, from the comfort of your vehicle and watch the nativity scene appear before your eyes with real people, animals, and few extras along the way.
The service, which is in its third year and being held at Melton Mowbray Market on Sunday 11th December at 4.30pm and 7.00pm, will be broadcast live on 103 They Eye for the audience to listen to through their car radios. Attendees are also being encouraged to get into the Christmas spirit by decorating their car (or tractor!) with lights and tinsel.
The stage will be an articulated lorry, flanked by two tractors on loan from the event sponsor; Russels. There will a host of angels, shepherds with sheep, kings on horses and of course the little donkey. Not forgetting vintage tractors, a telehandler, the north star and plenty of Christmas spirit.
County Chairman, Tom Smith said, “We wanted to grow on the success of the last two years and offer something really special to the local community this Christmas. We are very excited and really looking forward to welcoming new and past attendees to the event.”
